| La sezione diffusione raccoglie e pubblica lavori in versione integrale di autori differenti per linguaggi, geografie e periodi . Alcuni di questi film vengono pubblicati a seguito di ricerche effettuate sul web, altri per mezzo di un rapporto diretto con gli autori. Sino a qualche anno fa malastrada.film distribuiva in formato dvd e nell'opzione "proiezione" più di 22 titoli, oggi è stata effettuata una scelta per la quale ciò che è possibile acquistare in supporto fisico deve necessariamente essere fruibile anche on line gratuitamente. Il possesso diventa dunque una scelta del fruitore mentre la presenza sul web di opere tra loro molto differenti una possibilità aperta a tutti.
